The PB Kitchen Design Team recently received press in the laundry and mud room categories from the Houzz Editorial Team! In the article, The Hardworking Laundry Room: A Place for Brooms and Mops, Houzz Contributor Becky Harris explains that it doesn’t take a lot of real estate to give brooms and mops a designated home, if you have the right cabinetry to “divide and conquer.”
Our Laundry and Mud Room project in Glen Ellyn provided a great example for Harris as our design team outfitted this cabinet with dividers that designated spaces for the client’s ironing board, brooms, and mops.
This Scandinavian style mud room flows beautifully off the recently remodeled kitchen.
Using earthy, yet industrial and refined details simultaneously, the combination of design elements in this entire space is fashion forward, fresh, and most importantly – functional.
